rant time yayyy
hey all, its been a while since i last posted and this is not a "im not posting anymore cause i quit" post but more like a "im burnt out and working on other things" post.
recently, ive been worldbuilding and creating very extensive characters for a fantasy book i want to write. ive been using obsidian to do it and its so fun that i genuinely wonder why i stopped writing original stories.
tumblr isn't really a place im comfortable posting original stories, mainly because its so heavily dripping in fanfiction. i also dont know if this story will ever reach anyone else's eyes besides mine (and my sisters who i rant to).
ive been worldbuilding for almost a month now and ive created a literal realm from scratch, which may sound overwhelming but its actually quite fun. i would love to share more information on here about it and maybe garner attention from people who are interested, but i swear posts like this don't get much interaction like my fanfics do, which is understandable.
ever since someone accused me of using ai, i lost my spark with fanfic writing and it put me into a creative block and the only thing that has helped me was completely shifting gears into an original story.
but more about that original story. its about this alternate universe called aitheair, where there are fae, provinces, major houses that have these powers called virtues, and a very cool fmc and mmc that aren't completely fleshed out yet.
i want to keep updates about aitheair on tumblr, not only to keep posting for yall, but also to keep myself grounded and organized with planning, (but i might just make a seperate tumblr for that now that im rereading this.)
like i said, i use obsidian, and to show yall how extensive this world is, this is my graph:
if you dont use obisidian for writing, ur missing out, so definetely do it.
but even if this doesnt get much attention, i still want to post about my characters and world for the people that are interested.
and even though im not posting regularly like i was, trust me i really want to and just have writers block that is hitting me like a brick. either way, please keep commenting and liking my other posts and hopefully, ill be back to writing soon. (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
