I want a zephyr and sodis love story! I dont really mind who writes it , im new and I dont know all the mods! If you do take my request, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time to write it!!
Imagine it’s late at night at the estate. It’s quiet in the sauna as Sodis leans his head back. Nobody really knew that he liked coming into the sauna, especially this late at night. He liked the tranquility and atmosphere of the sauna. It keeps him at peace.
The door to the sauna suddenly opens, revealing Zephyr, fully clothed. He looks at Sodis in surprise, a shade of red creeping on his face.
"Ah?!" The Dark Warlord’s eyes widen. "S-Sorry, I though there was nobody in he-"
"It’s quite alright!" Sodis gestures for him to calm down. "Have you also come to relax?… And why are you fully clothed?"
"I was gonna check if someone’s in here."
"Well… Of course. There’s steam on the window, is there not?"
"… Sometimes, my common sense fails me," Zephyr sheepishly admits.
Sodis chuckled. “Ah, Zephyr, as bumbling as ever…”
"Excuse you," the Dark Unit calmly snapped, "Summoner usually regards me as someone very wise. Is it alright if I join you?"
"Of course." The Guardian Chief nods.
Zephyr closes the door and leaves for a few minutes. Then he returns with a towel around his waist and his eye makeup removed.
Sodis looks at him in surprise, prompting Zephyr to tilt his head in confusion. “What’s wrong?”
"I’ve never seen you without your makeup."
"I-It’s strange, I know…" The Dark Unit looks away a little as he sits down, face red.
"No, I mean you look nice without it…" Sodis clears his throat. "Why do you wear that anyway? You never told us."
"I’ve… I’ve just always liked it, I suppose." Zephyr shrugs. "It’s my thing, after all."
"I see… I can understand that. Still… Thousands of years and you’re still a mystery to everyone…"
"What are you getting at?" Zephyr asks.
"You should try to get along with some others," Sodis suggests. "If you’re comfortable with it, that is. Make some friends outside of the Guardians in case we’re all out on a mission."
"I did make one friend once…" Zephyr looks down. "But…he left me… I still miss him…"
Sodis places a hand on his friend’s shoulder and sighs. “Zephyr… I don’t mean your rubber duck friend…”
"You should go on a date or something, even!" the Light Unit heartily suggests. "What about Atro? She’s a pretty one."
"Um…" He looks at Sodis with a bit of concern. "I hate to be the one to break this to you but… Atro’s a guy."
"Eh?! Oh… OH." Sodis stares back at him with wide eyes. "I-I guess that crosses him off…"
"… W-Why do you say that?"
"Because he’s a guy?…" He says it as if it’s obvious.
"…" Zephyr stays silent for a moment. He takes a deep breath. Perhaps now is the best time to say… "A-Actually… The truth is…"
"…? What do you…?" The Guardian Chief thinks for a moment. Realization hits him suddenly. "Oh, you mean…"
There’s an awkward silence. Perhaps it was the steam, but there both men’s faces were red…
"… Would it be alright if…maybe…we went out sometime?…" Zephyr asks, not looking at the Chief in the eyes. "I-I mean, if you’re open to that…"
"U-Um, sure, I suppose…" He understands what Zephyr’s really saying. To think, after thousands of years of knowing him, he’s only now finding out his friend’s interest in men. "Though I’m a bit busy this week, so remind me another time, okay?"
It was a bit strange accepting such a thing, but who knows? Perhaps Sodis would find out more about himself. Plus, he did genuinely enjoy Zephyr’s company.
"O-Okay…" Zephyr nods slightly. It was so…unlike himself to act so…not smoothly. But as long as he wasn’t harshly judged like he thought he’d be, he was perfectly fine. "Thank you…for putting up with my selfish request…"
Sodis pat the Dark Warlord’s head. “It’s not a selfish request,” he reassures him, with a smile. “Thank you for opening up to me.”
Zephyr stays quiet for a moment before reaching out and petting Sodis’ hair back. “… Your hair is soft…”
The other man only chuckled. He at least knew that Zephyr had strange habits whenever nervous. Ah, how cute…
