You’d never been surrounded by more absolute chaos, and Aito looked at you like he was mortified and wanted to bury himself alive. You were still awkwardly holding onto his shoulder, although the hand that had been on his thigh was now fisted at your side. Hyuk’s laughter bounced off the wall and you could sort of make out Kenny’s teasing and dramatized kissy faces he was making. Nathan was bemoaning something about his baby Aito and how grown up he was now, whereas Seok was videoing all of it.

You shrunk down even more, burying your head into Aito’s chest as if it would help you disappear. If you had known you were going to be interrupted by all four of his members at once, you wouldn’t have even tried to see your boyfriend in the first place. Privacy was a luxury when one lived with four other guys in one small dorm, and you should have kept to your rule of hangouts only being at your house.

Aito knows how your periods can get. Nonstop cramps, mood swings, cravings, and only one place you really want to be—curled up in his arms. You have your ideal set up right now; a heat pad comfortably warming your stomach and Aito's arms holding you close, even while his focus is on his game.

You don't mind. In fact, you could spend hours just like this. You don't need him to dote on you every second to make sure you're comfortable. You just need to be close.

The click of his mouse and tap of the keys on the keyboard is background noise for you. You're more focused on the sound of his steady breaths. With your cheek pressed against his chest, you can hear every beat of his heart and feel every inhale and exhale. It's grounding.

When a wave of nausea hits you, you bury your head closer to him and whimper. He pauses his game for a moment, hands falling off the keyboard and mouse so he can rub circles across your back.

"Feeling okay?" he asks, whispering.

"'m fine," you mumble back. A beat passes before you sigh. "Okay, not really. But I will be."

You let Aito kiss your forehead and offer a sympathetic smile. You know he would do anything in his power to make you feel better, whether that involved baking you a cake at 2AM or patiently navigating your unpredictable mood swings.

You mumble a small I love you into his chest and close your eyes. You already know he's smiling without having to look as he repeats it back to you in a similar whisper. A moment later you hear the clicking of his keyboard again. He wouldn't mind staying here for hours either, playing games with you snuggled in his arms.
