What is your attitude to human religion? Does it amuse you, how far is it from reality?
There’s nothing wrong with religion, per se, in my opinion. It is practiced here in the Soul Society, of course. @mayurisuggestions has a god as part of his zanpakutō, after all: o-Jizō-sama. There are demons of all sorts clearly walking among us here: shape-shifters, kitusne, werewolves…. shinigami captains housing literal gods, eh, @jushirosuggestions
We are, all of us, hungry ghosts, in our own way.
But, if you’re asking me about Christianity or Islam or Judaism, I can’t say that I have much of an opinion. I can tell you that Juha Bach is a madman if the thinks by calling himself after the Hebrew YHWH, makes him a god. He is, after all destroyed (to one extent or another at least), while I yet live.
Personally, I have no quibble with spiritual people. Let them have their dreams of goodness of a better world.
Is it far from the truth? Who can know? There’s no harm in seeking.
For myself, I’ve read some philosophy. But, in the end, it’s little more than a distraction. My only interest is the path to power.
