People losing weight has nothing to do with what they think about you being fat.
Be fucking normal about fat girls I stg
Listen up you fuckers-
Girls being fat is not inherently fetishistic, people drawing girls fat is not inherently fetishistic, finding fat girls hot or sexy or pretty or sexually desirable is not inherently fetishistic, girls gaining weight, including drawing girls gaining weight IS NOT INHERENTLY FETISHISTIC.
How tf do you people think fat girls happen?! Do you think we just poof into existence at our current size?! Think about it for two seconds of your fucking lives- every fat girl EVER on this FUCKING PLANET in ALL OF GODDAMN HUMAN HISTORY started off as a not!fat girl, so if any case of a girl gaining weight or depicting them gaining weight is inherently fetishizing, then you saying every fat girl ever is nothing more than a fetish object.
Does that sound progressive to you? Does that sound lefitstly? Does that sound like treating fat girls as people to you? Cause I'm a fat girl and lemme tell you IT FUCKING DOESN'T. YES, EVEN IF YOU ARE A FAT GIRL YOURSELF, IT DOESN'T EXCUSE YOU FROM HAVING THIS FUCKING MINDSET
There is nothing inherently fetishizing about fat girls. Period. At all. In any fucking aspect of their lives. You all need to get this through your thick, neanderthal skulls now or shut the hell up about how people like us live, how people draw, write, animate, whatever us.
I think carrying these mindsets is actually worse than straight up hating fat people, because at least those people are easy to spot and avoid.
But, yes, *some* people *are* going to fetishize fat girls, some people are gonna get off to thoughts/pictures/porn/whatever of fat girls, I bet you a decent number of both of those groups are fat girls themselves.
And it's none of your goddamn fucking business.
If you have a problem with it, here's the best solution I can give you: JUST UNFOLLOW/BLOCK THEM FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. I guarantee you this is better for your long term mental health than sending fucking anon hate, organizing harassment campaigns, cancellation, or stewing in your own bitter feelings until thy kingdom come.
We are living in a time of unprecedented mass censorship of art and people and especially women and you think complaining about some person drawing a fat girl in too small clothes is a productive use of your time? Why don't you go apply to join the FBI, or better yet, put your SSD in the toaster and set it to dark.
PCOS didn't cause you to gain 100lbs.
Your habits did.
IF I’L EVER SEE SOMEONE DRAW A FAT PERSON WITH COLLARBONES I WILL DETONATE THE WHOLE EUROPE I SWEAR ON GOD
chicago friends! remember the 1967 fat-in that inspired the creation of fat liberation? well, there’s another one being held in winnemac park on 6/27 from 11am-3pm! hope to see you there!! 🐋⛓️💥
[ID: a flyer that reads, “Fat Theater Project invites you to: A Fat-In June 27th 11AM - 3PM Winnemac Park 5100 N. Leavitt Street. Not a protest, not a show, just a community gathering with fellow fats and/or supporters of fat liberation. Come as you are, bring your own blanket or chair.” The backdrop of the flyer are newsclippings of the feminist group The Fat Underground, a protestor at the original 1967 Fat-In holding a sign that reads “Fat Power,” Lewellyn Louderback’s 1967 article “More People Should Be Fat,” and NYT coverage of the Fat-In titled “Curves Have Their Day in The Park; 500 at a ‘Fat-in’ Call for Obesity.” End ID.]
One argument that doesn't make sense to me when I say being fat is unhealthy is "thin people can be unhealthy too"
Obviously not all thin people are healthy. You can have a lot of things wrong with you without being fat. That doesn't change the fact that being fat is unhealthy for you. It makes it much more likely to get one of the obesity related diseases and makes already existing diseases much worse.
Well thin people that smoke 5 packs a day aren't healthy just bc they're thin
What about thin people that are out drinking daily they aren't healthy
Well yeah nobody said these people are healthy. There are a lot of ways someone can be unhealthy and being fat is one of them.
Thin≠healthy
Fat=unhealthy
“You’re fat”
Thank goodness
