I think one of the reasons AA4 feels out of place to me is that it's the only Ace Attorney game I've played where no one is pushed to drastic measures because of love.

working on something AA4 related and I don't think I can quite talk about it yet exactly but I have some thoughts (spoilers below for AA4)

THINKING ABOUT HOW PHOENIX BECAME A DAD AT THE SAME TIME HE GOT DISBARRED. HOW MUCH HE AND TRUCY WENT THROUGH. HOW QUICKLY THINGS CHANGED FOR THE BOTH OF THEM. HOW HE SAYS "But Trucy... Happy, smiling Trucy... She was my light." AND.. WHEN HE PUTS HER PICTURE INTO HIS LOCKET. LIKE... IT JUST MAKES ME WAIL THINKING ABOUT IT. The Wrights my beloved....oughghg... the way they love and look out for each other...

do you ever think that liking the gavinners is rly taboo in alt spaces bc their entire band is centered around the police. like alternative culture RELIES on specific political views, especially a distaste for the police, so i imagine most ppl in the space actually hate klavgav's guts and this is consistently getting him cancelled

there was also a controversy where a punk put the gavinner's logo on their battle jacket and they got chased off the platform
