Mrs. Erinella Huckleberry and Mrs. Molly Mae Wood
Simone said that a firetruck was parked in front of AJ’s place when they were on their way home from school.
I didn’t check in on them either, so I assume everything is normal.
Which would mean unhealthy, dramatic, and sad.
Atticus is, well, not doing as well as I’d like.
I saw the three of them (Kitty, Sienna, and Atticus) at Alec’s birthday party today. Gideon, Griffin, and a few others were there.
I refuse to comment on anything I heard or say from dearest brother, the dorkiest of dorks, while there.
Alec’s taking his aging well, and we had a good time. We usually do over there.
Rest In Peace, Kitty Winter Huckleberry.
Catlina was telling us at the party that Zach spent the day at the roller rink. He said he’d had fun; AJ said he’d heard from Nicholas that he’d had to raise the price on the new couch they’d ordered. Pretty sure those two things are connected.
I’d barely gotten home from the party when AJ called. Catalina left with the Watcher.
He said Zach wasn’t home, so they know he had nothing to do with it, and I certainly don’t doubt him.
I’m just so sad that she died while they hadn’t mended their relationship. Zach’s going to need a lot of therapy when he figures out just what he’s lost.
I suppose I should worry about them instead of the Cwiks now. Things with them have calmed down a bit. Catalina says they’ve all gotten over their illness.
Zach went back to school today.
AJ got a promotion. Zach wanted to get a job, but, no surprise, that didn’t go well.
Nobody wanted to hire a delinquent. Since they were worried about their health and, well, behavior, Zach didn’t have a birthday party, either. But at least he’s grown up well and things are more likely to settle down for them since he’s out of puberty.
Mostly, I was worried when I inherited the legacy from @grimbunnies about three things: 1. Was I going to be able to keep the story as interesting as it has been?
2. Was I going to be able to keep it consistent from @katatty, @charmandersims, and @grimbunnies, but still make it mine?
3. How on earth was I going to be able to tell Gideon’s story and not ignore all the other characters?
I think Philippa’s diary lets me do that...she’s going to be naturally more inclined to talk about her brother than distant cousins, but she’s also a mean-spirited, overly dramatic family sim, so she’d be interested in family gossip.
And, major plus, she’s a supernatural skeptic, so she’s sort of naturally the unreliable narrator we all love to read (even when we love to hate them or don’t want to admit that we love them).
Here’s to the next round being less interrupted by my health, and easier to play now that I’ve gotten into the swing of things!
AJ says that Ana spends the day painting. Just painting. I don’t know whether I’m jealous of her free time or think it’s dull. I guess old people need to be busy, huh?
AJ had an awful day at work,
and James and Catalina had much better days. I’m sorry that AJ’s day was so bad.
