AJ moved to Saskatchewan from Cuba when he was 9 years old, he moved in somewhere better than Uranium, but then again that would be any other place in Saskatchewan. Until one day his family had to move to Uranium because their life was endangered and forced to migrate. Many people didn't think much of him but when they met the kid they we're surprised by his friendliness and naiveté, although he never made friends of his own, that was until in grade 5 he met the new kid, Corilie Ramirez. He saw it as a opportunity to make new friends, he tried to get close to the kid, and he eventually did, and they both weren't what the other expected from eachother, they in fact we're the complete opposite of the other, AJ talked and talked all day and night and Corilie would listen to every second of it, he actually listened. They grew up together to comfort eachother in the absolute fire dumpster that is uranium, like conjoined twins, always stuck to eachother. Yet til this day, he always manages to surprise people with his behaviour and bright smile, some people would say he's the embodiment of the phrase "Expect the unexpected"
