Amy: Hey. Can you pick up our kiddo? My car just got hit and I'm definitely not gonna make it.
Amy: I'm fine. Don't worry.

Beverly wasn't so much mad as she was frustrated and scared. It wasn't anywhere near the time for the dancing clown to reappear into Derry but that didn't mean it didn't lurk in the sewers. They didn't know how well it had been vanquished if evil really can ever be that. "Yeah, I get you're super curious Carter, but it's too dangerous. You do realize that me and my friends barely made it out alive right? We don't know if it's actually gone. I told you three times already that I didn't want you going down there and what do you do? Go down there! What's telling you to stay away this time going to do? It's only going to make you want to go more. I know you Carter."
Nathan: I saw you on TV today.
Nathan: I don't think that will ever lose its novelty.

"Of course I'm sure, you know how protective I am over my sanctuary," Luna said with a slight shrug of her shoulders. It was true though, Luna rarely let anyone in her place let alone spend the night. "You look upset so I think it's a better plan to just stay here and chill. Besides, if you do? I'll let you do anything you want." The blonde winked before kissing Katrina's cheek. "If you want to, then do. Bout time you met my bed anyway."

Autumn knew Christina by now, knew the little ticks and quirks that told her things that her girlfriend wasn't ready to share. She let out a sigh when the brunette said she was fine not once, but twice. That definitely meant that she wasn't. Especially when she asked if she could spend the night there instead of going home. "Yeah, let me go get some things for Remington to make him more comfortable. But don't think this conversation is over Christy, I know you're not okay and you told me that I had to trust you, but how can I when I know you're hiding something from me?"

Evie was leaning in the door to the bathroom, watching Antonio with a frown on her face before she shook her head. She did understand, which is why she wasn't trying to bite his head off and tell him how stupid he was. "Come on, I think I have an ice pack in the fridge. Is Isabella alright? No one got seriously hurt did they?"

If Stephen had been anyone else, Journey would have punched them to get her point across that she was working. She's spent the last two weeks prepping for this case and already knew the ins and outs of it like the back of her hand but it never hurt to continue going over it, looking for any small points of weakness that someone could wiggle their own argument into it and shatter her defense. Sighing softly, Journey set the pen down on top of the folders that were open in front of her. "I'm going to give you one minute to argue your case. If you lose I'm going back to work and you're going to bed alone."

“are you mad at me, really?” she looks incredulous, which in reality she never, ever is. a scoff follows through, arms crossing against her chest. “i just saved you an entire evening’s worth of fake laughter, a thank you wouldn’t go amiss...”
