If anyone asked, Cassie always said she worked nights as a bartender. Really she doubted people would want her teaching dance classes to their kids if they knew she was a stripper to help make ends meet. It wasn’t like she was ashamed of what she did, it was more she didn’t want to deal with other peoples opinions. Plus it wasn’t like the club was in the best part of town so she doubted any of those uptight people would be coming down here, and if they did they wouldn’t want their spouse knowing about it. But the money was decent and she got her rent paid. Only tonight she’d gone in and her name was crossed off the list which had clearly happened some time after she’d left the night before. A frown took over her features as she grabbed her bag and headed through the club that was still getting ready to open and upstairs to the office.
Maybe it was because her boss seemed to be a little sweet on her the blonde was confident enough to just walk into his office because she never would have done it otherwise. She was aware of the backroom deals going on and that the club was more to clean money and less to make it. So without knocking she walked into the room and looked at the man behind the desk. “So did I get fired and no one told me? Because I was on the list to work tonight and suddenly my name is crossed out with no private parties. So whats up? I have rent to pay.”
