i recently binge read your pmd fic and i love it! do you have any other pmd fics i could check out? or other good fics to recommend?

Thank you!!! ^^ I don’t have any other PMD fics that I’ve actually posted, unfortunately (the old ones lurk in the depths of my phone’s notes section, haha!). Seekers takes up most of my free writing time nowadays! I can definitely recommend a few awesome PMD fics and comics for you to check out, though! In no particular order...

FICS:

PMD: Defenders of Warmth - I haven’t read this story in years so I’m not sure if it still holds up, but this was the fic that inspired me to one day start writing Seekers. I was obsessed with it when I was younger.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Galaxies Above - I fell behind in this story and really need to catch up (a reoccurring theme for me, unfortunately), but @nelvana’s Galaxies Above is an awesome ‘verse that combines multiple PMD game plotlines alongside the author’s own original ideas and headcanons!

PMD: Warped Skies - I haven’t actually read this one yet, but it’s been highly recommended to me multiple times! ^^’

My friend Volcanic is also planning to start writing her PMD story again this year over at @pmd-glitch-au, which I’m super excited about!

COMICS:

PMD: Gleaming Hearts - Another great story that I’m behind on--and I think this comic is getting close to wrapping up, actually! Really awesome fight scenes in this one.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Outlanders - I believe this comic is on hiatus right now, but the setting and characters are fantastic. It’s a wild west PMD story!

Little Lapses: A PMD Comic - I haven’t actually read this one yet either, but I keep seeing pages of it here and there and it looks super cute. I’m definitely planning to check it out!

I know I’m missing a bunch of great fics and stories, so please feel free to reblog/reply with your favorites--or your own PMD fics and comics! I’d love to check them out. :D

Black, truth (what's the cutest memory you have of your bro) or dare (gimme a peck on the cheek ^///^)?

Black:  I’ll do both, just for you.  My favorite cute memory of my brother is the time I caught him asleep with both our dogs.  He just looked so at peace.  I haven’t gotten to see him like that often enough.

Mutt: Aww, bro, you’re such a softie.

Black:  Don’t tell anyone else that, Mutt!  Honestly.  Now for that dare.

He walks over to you, gives you a quick peck on the cheek, and walks out of the room.  Gotta go recover his dignity or...something.

“I’m gonna stay up and wait for it to snow.” with Black! (p.s. ive never seen snow except for on tv. i live on a tropical island, so id totally do this if i moved somewhere cold)

(Changing the prompt a little bit for the sake of cuteness. I assume you don’t mind.)

Black tiptoed through the hall.  He was awake, but no one else was.  Except...

You were sitting by the window, one cheek pressed against the panes and a blanket falling from around your shoulders.  

Black approached quietly and laid a hand on your shoulder.  “Dearest?  What are you doing?” 

You sat up with a start.  “What?” 

“Did you fall asleep here?” Black asked.  

You stretched and blinked several times before focusing on him.  “What?  Oh...I guess I must’ve.  I was staying up to wait for the snow.  Did it snow?” You looked out the window.  Moonlight sparkled on the ground.  “It did!  Black, it snowed!”  

He couldn’t help but laugh at your eagerness.  “So it did,” he said, looking outside.  “And it’s still snowing.” 

“Can we go out and see it?” you asked eagerly.  “Please?” 

“Of course,” he said.  “Let’s take the dogs out for a walk.” 

The two of you got coats, scarves, hats, and boots, then got the dogs out of their crates.  The dogs were almost as excited to get outside as you were.  All of you ran out the moment Black opened the door.  He followed behind you, smiling at your eagerness.  

You lifted your face to the sky as snowflakes fell and tingled on your skin. The dogs romped around you.  Black walked over and slid his mittened hand into yours. 

“Isn’t it beautiful?” you asked.

“Yes,” he said.  “You are.”

CAN I GET A CELEBRATORY HUG!! I GOT MY LEAVE!! it's only 2 days, this Thursday and Friday, but I'll take it! i am so tired!!!

*hugs*  Yay!!!

Black hugs you without any hesitation.  “I knew it!” he says.  “I knew they would let you have time off.” He seems to realize what he did and lets you go hastily.  “I hope you find time to rest, my dear,” he says a bit sheepishly.

could i het a hug from Black? i got told today that i might not get any time off for the holidays. *holds up hands for a hug like a small child and not like the 5'11 adult they are*

Black hugs you.  He has to reach up a little.  (You are taller than him.) “That is quite unfair,” he says.  “If I could, I’d go and have a word with them.  Everyone deserves time off for the holidays.”

"That's so cool that you push yourself like that." When they see his little accident, they fight the urge to giggle. Black probably wouldn't appreciate that. "Oh dear," they set their things down and grab cloth, wetting it at the sink and hurrying back to him. "There you go. Not sure what to do with gingerbread man though... Maybe say he got in a fight with one of Santa's elves."

Black takes the cloth gratefully and wipes off his hand.  “Thank you,” he says.  He laughs at your idea for salvaging the gingerbread man.  He studies the cookie.  “I think I can salvage him,” he says. “He definitely got into some sort of rough situation.  Possibly involving elves.”  

He bends over the cookie and uses icing, toothpicks, and sprinkles to fix it up. When he’s finished, he shows it to you.  The red splatters are still there but now the gingerbread man is wearing a green sweater with red splatters on it, so it looks a little less like he was slashed by something and a bit more like someone splashed something on him.  

“I still don’t know what happened to him,” Black says, “but I do know he’ll be delicious once we finally eat him.”  He winks an eye light at you.
