It depends on where you live. In the States, each state has it’s own law, some you just have to start using the name, others, yeah it costs $

It has also just occurred to me that insisting on offering alcohol when a person has refused is not only rude

But downright assholery when you think that maybe the person in question is a recovering alcoholic. Or had an alcoholic in the family. Or other serious motives.

UGH. ALCOHOL. It even ruins perfectly good chocolate.

While I generally say that pre-Green album Weezer is my favorite band, I'd actually put Placebo up next to them now, especially since "Special K" influenced a whole bunch of my ST fics. I still think Bic Runga is flawless, and Rie Fu's first album will always be one of my perfect cds, as will "Crimson" by Alkaline Trio.

What I'm listening to mostly right now, though, is Doomtree, specifically its members Dessa and Cecil Otter. Dessa is probably my number one artist of the past year. I think she's incredible and I'm still heartsick that I borked the date of her April show and missed it.
