He doesn’t even have time to process the shoe being thrown at him before it’s already phased through. He doesn’t like the feeling of things phasing through him ... but right now, he’s just confused. What was that all about.. ? Was that intentional? He turns to face the guy, lips pursed and eyebrows up in surprise, turning his head first to look at the shoe -- then to look at Inosuke himself.
