Im not going to comment on the recent golf it video, however as a queer person I can comment on what Jeremy said on Twitter.

He's got a point; those aligned with Conservative parties may want to jump ship, may want to join us in our fight (against Trump and what he stands for), and all Jeremy did was offer an olive branch for those people. To now say he's "privileged to ride the middle road" or hell "racist, sexist, etc", all because he publicly acknowledged and welcomed Conservatives to join us...

That's just sad. We were all problematic at one point in life, so let's end cancel culture and gatekeeping. Welcome new allies, accept people's growth, and realize what he said was not problematic or wrong; you're just too bitter to have hope
