“people are going to think i’m playing favorites by letting you on my show twice,” jaesun teases jaehwa, giving her a nudge in the side. “so, are we eating something good today? it better not be something that i don’t like,” he notes to her, eyes narrowing slightly as he waits for her to tell him what they’ll be eating today. he has something as a backup in case his sister suddenly decides to pull a ‘i couldn’t decide so you cook!’ on him. he doesn’t think she will, but it’s just like jaesun to always have a backup when it comes to his younger siblings.

“how is everything anyway? have you thought about joining future dreams this season?” he asks. they don’t have that much time to catch up, but the thought pops into his mind anyway. however, he doesn’t have much time to wait for an answer before they’re being waved to get started.

EAT WITH JAE – 001.

it’s crazy that jaesun is starting a new show this term. frankly, he thought that, after his last one, they might tell him that he isn’t allowed another one, but it seems that maybe he had done better than he thought. his second show idea is approved, and today is the first day of shooting.

he’s thankful that the company has allowed the cafeteria for his shooting space only because it would be the only place that would have the equipment that would really allow for him to give his guests the ability to make the dishes that they’d want. well, to a certain degree anyway. it’s no gourmet restaurant back here, after all.

he turns to his first guest, throwing him a smile. “how are you feeling about being on the show, hm?” he asks, giving the other a gentle pat on the back. “have you been on a show yet so far?” he asks, wondering if this will be the first time the world will get to see the other on their screens.

EAT WITH JAE – 003.

jaesun wonders if the company will start making a comment that he can’t have all his family members on his shows, but it’s not even intentional. besides, jude has never been on his show before, and he’s excited to have his cousin here to share this opportunity with him. “so, are you  going to cook me something today or are you going to be ordering food in? or did you bring something?” he looks around, trying to gauge what is going to happen soon.

so far, the shows have been a bit more interesting than his last show, if he were to be honest. however, he thinks it’s partly because the dance bit had been more limiting in terms of options than this show did. here, there were literally an abundance of foods that he could have his guests cook or bring.

“anyway, thanks for volunteering yourself for this show we’ll probably get started shortly. shall we head over?” he points to where they will be filmed, waving for him to follow him.

EAT WITH JAE – 005.

jaesun is often surprised by who ends up on his shows. more often than not, they’re people that he’s more than familiar with, but with sarang, he has to admit that he doesn’t know her as well as most of the other guests. sure, their time in legacy has overlapped for a bit, but for whatever reason, their paths just didn’t seem to cross. “thanks for joining the show,” he notes to her as they’re getting ready to get started.

“do you have any questions for me or how the show is going to go? anything specific you want me to ask you about?” he chuckles, “as much as this show is about cooking and eating, it’ll also just be a place for you to showcase yourself, you know?” he hopes that bit makes sense. “so i want to talk about the things that you’d like to share with the world.”

NOW SEARCHING FOR GUEST STARS FOR EAT WITH JAE !

yes, as the post suggests, i am here to follow the leads of the others by looking for people to star on ‘eat with jae’. this is jaesun’s second show ( the first having been a dance show but i got bored of writing about that show so RIP ) and he’s super excited to get the chance to do this.

SO WHAT IS THE SHOW ABOUT?

eat with jae is a mix cooking / mukbang style show. the reason it’s a mix is because not every week will feature one or the other. the primary focus is for guests to teach him how to cook something new, preferably one of their favorite dishes. EDIT: the show will be held in the company’s cafeteria so kitchen equipment will be available. however, please note the length of time of each episode ( no soups that will take hours to make !!! )

however, if guests are unable to cook, they are more than welcome to bring a dish of choice to the studios. 

both segments will feature a small q&a with the trainee, whether it be during the cooking or during the eating ! the questions can be discussed with jaesun in advance if there are certain things about your muse that you want to promote !

with that said, please let me know if you’d like to join his show ! i am open to holding threads with all guests ( though you are more than welcome to let me know if you’d prefer to just collect your points without threading ).

EAT WITH JAE – 004.

a starter for @lgcahyeon​

time really flies by so quickly, jaesun thinks to himself. then again, considering how long he’s been in the company, perhaps it makes sense that time has moved so fast. he’s halfway through his second show, and he knows that, before he knows it, it’ll be over. the show had been oddly more fun than dance showdown, despite how much he loves dancing. however, this show allows him to do something he loves as well as also gives time for his co-star to shine and share more about themselves. it was a great platform, or maybe he’s just biased.

today, he brings ahyeon onto his show. that’s another thing -- each guest’s dish is a secret, so he has no idea what he’s in for. granted, he does have to have an element of faith that the others won’t bring something that will ruin both their reputations. then again, it is just food, so what’s the worst that could happen?? 

“so, are you going to tell me what we’ll be eating today? or will it be a surprise until we get on the show?”

EAT WITH JAE - SIGN UP NOW !

hello friends ! i apologize this is coming so late ( and that i haven’t even had a chance to follow the new folks and welcomed people yet .. istg i will get to those later today ) but i wanted to at least open up sign-ups for jaesun’s show. jaesun is super excited to be doing his third season of vlives and decided that he really liked the concept he had last term so we’ll be keeping up with it. 

SO WHAT IS THE SHOW ABOUT?

this is the bit that i’ll be changing up ever so slightly this term. since the cooking bit was a lot of work for both jaesun and his guests and the amount of time they got really restricted what they could make, this will more or less be a mukbang style show instead !

guests will be asked to bring their favorite dish ( this can be made prior to the show or ordered from an outside eatery ) to share with jaesun. while they eat together, he’ll do a small q&a with the trainee as a way to help promote them a bit and allow the audience to learn more about legacy’s trainees. the questions can be discussed with jaesun in advance if there are certain things about your muse that you want to promote !  

with that said, please let me know if you’d like to join his show ! i am open to holding threads with all guests ( though you are more than welcome to let me know if you’d prefer to just collect your points without threading ).
