Nobukatsu almost hadn’t expected Kotarou to be outside his apartment, especially since Nobukatsu himself was late. At least he looked cool (if someone had asked him, and no one did), and as he was about to declare –

“I got new shoes for this.” And a new shirt which read NOBUZON in large font. “So I’m ready to run!”

“I was thinking we should loop around district six, since Nobukatsu heard some of the other districts have werewolves. You don’t think that’s too far, do you?”

     The way he dressed, the way he walked, the way his hair fell over his eyes so stylishly... There was something about the redheaded boy Shinobu had caught a glimpse of from across the street. Something that excited him! So much so he just had to follow and see what such an eclectic-looking fellow would do and where he would go.

     --- N-No, it’s not stalking! He’s just casually scoping out the situation, as all ninjas would before planning their next move.

      And so it goes, Shinobu crawling in the branches of a tree, peering down towards the boy with keen interest and doing his very best not to make a noise.
