Chapter 4 has me in a CHOKEHOLD dude so I wound up making a deltarune oc based off the vessel we make in the beginning

There’s a doodle page below but I wound up making a snow grave version of Dahlia too (shown in her ref). I’d imagine she was angry when her choices didn’t matter after effectively being forced into Kris’s body (after all, we didn’t want to be here either. our vessel was destroyed in the beginning.) and decided to take it out on the world, which was absolutely fueled by Kris slamming her into a cage in chapter one.

Her snowgrave/weird route body is based off the thorn ring, and I named her Dahlia due to the flower having different meanings based on its color. Red Dahlia’s symbolize strength and power, which goes perfectly given the power she has over Kris.

Green Dahlias are significant because I made her favorite color green, and green Dahlia’s represent new beginnings and change. Which she was denied being turned into a red soul (also does the missing crayon color in Kris’s house change depending on the color you choose? Because when I went to inspect the drawers it mentioned a green crayon being missing).

Black Dahlia’s represent betrayal and sadness. Also, they’re not fully black! They’re a deep crimson, which I find neat.

I wound up naming the save “Dahlia” too, and got some special dialog about the creator and the vessel being the same. With that though here’s an interaction doodle page between Kris and Dahlia✨

Mostly focused on the doodles so I opted to actually like, include a full illustration! Just something quick but nice :]

But AUGH I’ve never had a stranger’s oc give me this many brainworms, I’ve been rotating @tikvin ‘s character TWO all day at work with Durgedauk and like, the possible dynamics that could come from it. I’m exploding JSJFJEA

This was fun and high key might draw them again in the future but for NOW here’s the doodles + illustration without the effects

I wasn't initially going to post these but my friends got to talking about fanfiction the other day so I'll just go ahead and cave ✨️

Sooo here's my contribution to cult of the lamb! The designs are subject to change heavily and I don't know if I'll focus on this au as I prefer posting my original stuff, and I don't really *want* to be known as a cult of the lamb blog? Just because I worry of that happens my original stuff would just be left to die.

If i get attached enough I'll probably make a side Fandom blog in the future!

So the premise of this au is heavily inspired off of the idea that there are more chosen ones for specific bishops in alternate worlds. Like the goat is shamuras, a llama is Leshy's, Sphinx is Heket's, and a bull is Kalamar. If i were to make this a comic or story of sorts I'd focus more as to why each of them are here and why their bishops were sealed away, and all that fun stuff!

For now here's their references side by side with an added doodle focusing on Nemesis. As much as I like narilamb I realized Heket was my favorite bishop so Nemesis is a lambket type of lamb :]

I saw @mkanuhea ‘s lamb had twin braids in the future and really wanted to draw them together.

Still trying to figure out Nemesis’s design but! I got this done :]

Plus a bonus future doodle when they’re both fully fledged gods and Nemesis has long since mellowed out by then.

OUUUGH Y’all the brainworms have gotten me. I went and made a vessel oc

I’m playing Hollow Knight before I hit Silksong, but I already spoiled it for myself trying to make sure this is as canon compliant as possible so here’s a lifeblood infected vessel :]

I’m going for a vessel that died underneath a cocoon after escaping from the abyss with a lifeseed that was also trapped in there. Because of that connection to the lifeseed the creature that makes them went and brought it back to life in— some roundabout way, essentially making Xerces a child of theirs. Xerces can’t heal with soul, so it ‘became’ a cocoon itself in order to heal. It prefers using magic and ranged combat due to the danger of letting a foe get too close. It still practices with a nail though just in *case* since magic and soul can only get you so far.

I’d like to think it ‘respawns’ because the lifeseeds drag it to safety and put it into a cocoon until it's ready to emerge, or it finds the closest cocoon. I did model them after the Xerces butterfly :] hence the name. I just think it's neat! Not sure if it'd be alive when Hollow was around, but I toyed with that too so I might go that route. I like the idea that it sometimes visits the memorial and plays a tune on a lute (which I didn’t draw but that’d be in their inventory too).

I went with the interpretation that grace is the name of the wife that passed away. So ofc she’s grappling that

I have NOT passed sorrows domain, or litney’s. So Roni’s also a consistent failure (though with sorrow she doesn’t stop fighting it. Even after a loss she’s persistent. She’s given into peer pressure MANY times though)
