"I've been a lot of places" she simply shrugs. "I have a few good stories...I can tell you them, if you'd like..!"
"I wouldn’t mind hearing them at all, but do you think we could take a seat somewhere?" Burgh smiled and seemingly stood there awkwardly since he had no cane on him for his plight.
she shrugged. ” i go where the wind takes me…this place is a good area for food too…not to mention my cabin is only about 4 miles from here….” she hook her head. “never mind im blabbering…”
"You're not blabbering. You answered a question asked, silly." Burgh offered a smile in what he hoped was her direction. "It must be nice to travel. I know a few travelers and they always have some wonderful stories!"
hugs burg. "ohhh hiii Burg!! remember me...?" she smiled.
Burgh looked a little troubled as he hugged a feminine figure. “Ah… If I could see you I would say yes… Your voice sounds very familiar though. The girl I met on the bench?”
Burgh didn't know what to do. He'd only just met her and yet the duty of taking her life had fallen to him since her next of kin would not see her and the mayor had insisted that she go down with the honor of a gym leader she had known.
"I'm sorry... Akari... I don't know what to do. They said you won't wake up after that accident. You know it's almost been six months now... I really wish you would wake up..." Burgh's fingers trembled as he smoothed away a few of the stray hairs that the breeze from the window had blown onto the doll like face. "I wish we could have known each other more. Perhaps we could have been close friends."
He rose from his seat and pressed light kisses to each of her eyelids. "Good bye and with peace may you find rest..." His voice was soft as his fingers found the cord. "Goos night, Akari..." The sound of the flat-line was one that would haunt him for ages to come.
