Mick knew he shouldn’t, but he always went back to it. He used to go to bars to start fights, now he’s actually getting drunk out of his mind. He just wanted it to stop, the hallucinations, the memories, the thinking. One last night, he promised himself. There was a bakery, a job waiting for him in the morning, he really couldn’t afford to get piss drunk every night anymore. But one more night, go out with a bang and that meant starting a fight.

The bartender had been watching him all night, warily, as he downed more and more shots. It wasn’t long before he was denied his next drink. “Didn’t wan’ your shitty drinks anyways.” He huffed, getting out of his seat and stumbling to someone who had their own bottle. Lucky asshole. “Hey.” Mick slurred, “Y’gonna share some o’ tha’?”

“I could never understand the urge to drink such a poisonous liquid. To inhibit my body in such a way is asking if I’d like to become dumber. But I can see that’s no issue for you.”

“Whoa...I thought looking like a hot mess was Tony’s style. But Damn- Jess you look like you haven’t slept fro a week.” Clint winces sympathetically and pats her shoulder gently. “Do you need something? Tylenol? Some leftover pizza?”
