Here's what happened in the National Basketball League of Canada last night.
SATURDAY'S NBL CANADA ACTION
vs
MONCTON MIRACLES 110, SUMMERSIDE STORM 95
Moncton Top Performers
Trayvon Lathan - 27 pts (10-20), 11 rebs, 4 ast

Summerside Top Performers
Al Stewart - 11 pts, 4 rebs, 5 ast, 4 stl
Stephen McDowell - 24 pts, 5 rebs, 3 ast, 2 stl
If Summerside looks to be in the playoff picture at the end of the season, they have to win these matchups. The Storm lost their second game in a row, falling to the Moncton Miracles 110-95 on Monday night. The Storm shot the ball poorly against the Miracles (29%), making just 28 of 94 shots. The shorthanded Storm were without Chris Cayole, Eric Gilchrese and Julian Allen due to injury. It also didn't help that their star forward, Mike Williams, left with injury one minute into the matchup.
Moncton on the other hand, had all five starters score in double figures with Trayvon Lathan leading the way with his double double: 27 points and 11 boards. The newest addition to the Miracles, Akeem Wright, chipped in with 22 points. This was Moncton's fifth win of the season.
