Re-uploading an introduction piece I made late last year! As part of my course we were given an induction task to do so with easter eggs of ourselves as a big theme… so naturally I decided to be like “the biggest easter egg I can make is drawing myself in the style of my favourite game” and went and did just that! I love Akiba’s Beat guys it’s literally so fucking good reviewers just hated it bc they hate fun and good storytelling. In any case yeah this was hugely punching above my weight for August 2025 (I am in fact now 22 ftr) but it was immensely fun and still works well as an intro to who I am! If you see any shared interests hi please talk to me about them please I am begging.

But wait… that’s not all…

I did also turn this piece into a fake EX skill render like the actual game, and it’s also my current banner! I had an absolute blast making this when I did it despite how far out from my normal style it is, I’ve always admired UCMM’s work and I still have a long way to go in emulating it well but to see my own work even slightly close to some I’ve admired for so long did feel a little surreal at the time ngl… the ribbons on the background were esp fun to make I should do this again just for myself sometime tbh.

For the like three fans of the game, I am offering the EX skill fullbody as a commission option if you’d like a feeling similar to that 👀

Happy birthday Ryoma Hoshi!

I really missed traditional art so I had to draw Ryoma for his birthday on paper. However I didn't realise how difficult it is switching from between the two... I hope he still looks okay...

In imagination mode his eyes glow indigo and two tennis rackets are behind him. He has a tennis ball on his left cheek and a tennis net around his left leg. His weapon is a battle axe as it's the most similar to a tennis racket.

I will admit, she looks like she just came out of a black and white film. I loved coming up with a dress for her.

In imagination mode her eyes glow grey and 8 spider legs form behind her. She has a spider web on her left cheek and a spoon, fork and knife on her skirt. Her weapon is a morning star as I thought it suited her (I thought about Kaito, but the whole hero vibe works better with a sword).

Oumasai week, Day 3: Alternate Universe

I originally was going to do my soulmate au, but I wanted to do something more imaginative, so I decided to do an au based on my favourite rpg call Akiba's Beat. Their designs are based on the special ability known as imagination mode, which you use in the game to get a power boost. This involves listening to music and fighting to the beat (this is why they are wearing headphones).

Shuichi's back mark is the revolver cylinder from the trails with the reticle used to fire at weak points on his check. Lastly the lines on his arms represent the lines on his hat. He fights with a gun because Danganronpa. Kokichi's back mark is the eyes that appear when you use lie bullets, a tear and a plus on his cheeks are meant to be from his D.I.C.E mask and the coil around his arm is meant to be like one of his legs straps from his normal in game outfit. His weapon is a hammer to reference the electrohammers in the game, and because as a prankster he would probably use squeaky hammers. Their eyes are also the same colour as their weapons as they glow when this mode is used (drawing Shuichi with blue eyes is weird).

Shuichi and Kokichi are chosen people who have the ability to see things call delusions. A delusion is born when someones (also known as a deluser) dream becomes reality in the form of a rift. These rifts are known as delusionscapes which are dungeons filled with monsters.These delusions may seem harmless, but if they aren't nullified, it will encroach on reality and destroy it. In order to nullify them, people like Shuichi and Kokichi will enter these delusionscapes and destroy the grand phantasm, the boss and heart of the delusion. Once destroyed, the entire delusion will disappear and everyone who isn't inside the delusion will have their minds wiped of the event, including the deluser.

Shuichi originally was a normal high school student, until he suddenly found a strange door. Being naturally curious, Shuichi went inside. Once inside, Shuichi was attacked by monsters. He thought he was a goner, until he heard a voice telling him to duck. Next thing he knows, a boy with messy purple hair and a hammer saves him. Shuichi is confused as the weapon the boy is holding is strange. A headphone cable seems to be connecting the weapon to some headphones. The boy calls him stupid for not using the gun in his hand to protect himself. Shuichi is surprised to find that he has a gun that seems to be also connected to some headphones. Kokichi introduces himself and tells Shuichi to leave before he gets hurt. Shuichi says he won't and Kokichi claims its a lie and he doesn't care, however if he wants to stay he can show him what he does in these places and how to defend himself from more monsters.

Now her design for my au was pretty fun!

In imagination mode her eyes glow yellow and she has a pair of wings behind her. She also has a cross on her stomach just above her bellybutton and halo above her head.  Her weapon is a pickaxe just because I thought it would look nice (and I was having real trouble picking a weapon for her.)
