For the Sake of Those Around Me. (Part Two)
Luga wandered through the woods until she found the agreed meeting spot. When she arrived, she was greeted by a low, sinister laugh. She dropped to a defensive position and summoned her staff, preparing for the fight that might ensue.
"I was beginning to think that you didn't value your friends' lives, Miss Sol." Luga whipped around to see a cloaked figure standing two feet behind her. Why hadn't she heard them approach? "At any rate, we must get going." The figure gripped her wrist tightly, causing her to wince and panic. "Where are you taking me?"
The figure opened up a vortex in the ground. "The shadow realm," Luga wimpered. The figure turned around. You could hear the smile in their voice. "That's correct, Miss Sol. The shadow realm. A place where no one will be able to hear your pathetic screams for mercy. Unless we want them to."
Luga turned to face the figure and saw that they were behind her now. How? She didn't have time to process the situation before she was pushed into the pitch black darkness. She looked up and screamed as the hole began to close above her. She could no longer see the stars in the sky. She couldn't see anything.
