We should talk more about the fact that Mori prob was also not doing well towards the end of the war, bc that man definitely didn't get a break either.

Just look at the shadows beneath his eyes, he definitely was everything, but well rested and I guess that also his patience was running thin due to that and he realised that his immortal regiment was failing. Adding to the stress he already may have had. Like, we don't even see Elise around in the last interaction between him and Yosano on the battleship.

How tired was he???? How much pressure was he under from his own superiors? Where was he when Yosano got attacked after being all about protecting girls???? (Like, if he was around when Yosano had her break down, even if she wouldn't quite remember it, at least the manga would have hinted at him being around. So, I gather that his guilt concerning Yosano isn't only the abuse he inflicted on her, but also the fact that he wasn't the mentor he should have been to her. The guardian she deserved. He would have loved to take care of her, but he never could and Fukuzawa snatched her away, so, we never will know how Yosano in the mafia would have turned out and if Mori would have really just used her as a tool. I also started to wonder if his shopping habit is connected to Yosano, since she canonically likes to go shopping.)

18 year old Zandik. Said yes to a picknick with a girl who had a crush on him. They spent time together, they went on more than one expedition together.

Personal favourite headcanon of mine of Dottore is that he can cook, bc the chef's messed up Sumerian food one time too often, so, he's doing it himself now. Also, he invites Pantalone for diner sometimes and has created a version that won't kill his taste buds, but still tastes as it should.
