“Hmm...” She’d taken it upon herself to search the school for any sign of Shiro or Kuroh, but so far she hadn’t had any luck. Still, checking with each teacher to see if they had any students that matched her description of her two friends seemed like a good idea.
However...she’d gotten distracted, as cats often do, by this teacher’s manner of speaking. He definitely had a sort of imposing air around him, calling himself a king. But if he was a king, did that mean he had a clan? She didn’t recall his face among the kings she knew, however.
“Ne, Goldie-sensei, if you’re a king, what color is your clan?” she asked, tilting her head to the side. “Neko is pretty sure the Gold King was an old man though...Ah, are you the new Gold King then?”
