mvchant:
â hm. â a hum escapes ever so slowly, something similar to what catherine felt the group was spiraling into : a slow, never-ending cycle, everything unfolding at such a controlled, yet agonizing pace. choking and blinding, such that sounds like a wondrous friday night. the trio, stripped of any and all abilities and hands forced to advance with NATURAL usage ( is this how humans felt everyday?! ). oceanics flicker towards the darker-tressed female, observing whatever forceful kicks would be of impact. NOTHING. the girlâs appearing to give in, her own body DESPERATE to collapse, but the leaderâs statement rejuvenates fighting strength â they were almost done, the door was found. but there was still the matter of the crippling adversary, how to find itâs weak point and rid of it swiftly. brows knit, trepidation hidden, yet conscience is OVERFLOWING with pros and cons of whatever pieces of suggestion coarse through, â I feel like iâm reaching my limit, and that never happens. I love a good workout, but this⊠â a pause, â itâs almost as though I have an idea where itâs weakest point is, but iâm not sure⊠kitty found the door, but we got to get rid of this, somehow. â Â

Neko frowned slightly, her gaze sweeping over the monster as her teammates continued to try and find its weakness. It seemed like they were getting tired..which was understandable. She had a terrible headache, and she wanted nothing more than to curl up in her bed and go back to sleep. But that wasnât going to happen.
At least, not so easily.Â
She glanced at the door, trying her best to think of a way to help them. And then she remembered her weapon. It was an instrument, of some sort. She could try bashing the monster in the head with it, but that might not do much good. But perhaps a loud sound would drive the monster away. Or at least, temporarily catch it off guard enough for them to quickly escape.Â
âI have an idea!â Temporarily disregarding her usual way of referring to herself, she stepped forward to join her teammates. Now that sheâd found the right door, all that was left was to get rid of the nuisance. She grinned as she held up her weapon. âIf itâs got sensitive ears, wouldnât this work?â Not that she even knew how to play it, but sheâd managed to crash a blimp by sheer dumb luck before.
âA loud noise might drive it away if I can get close enough to its ears!â Probably wouldnât be too hard, considering the bug spray had it blinded and the magazine had it struggling to breathe. It seemed like it was just flailing around at this point, hoping to catch one of them.Â
âIf it works, itâll give us time to get through the door! Hold your ears and get ready to run!â She charged forward, getting as close to the monster as she could before raising the instrument to her lips. She inhaled deeply, aiming directly at the monster and managed to let out one blaring note that seemed to hang in the air.Â
Only downside was, it had rattled her as well, since sheâd had to hold the instrument with both hands.
