werewolf oc idea to where the ease of transforming depends entirely on the moon phases

during the waxing moon cycles, it becomes increasingly difficult to both transform into and maintain a human form as the moon gets fuller. on the full moon, only a wolf form can be taken

on the waning moon cycles, however, its the opposite. as the moon gets emptier it gets harder to, again, transform into and maintain a wolf form. on the new moon, only a human form can be taken

a half form between wolf and human is the easiest form to be in during the first and third quarter moons, and thats when a half form (imagine classic two legged werewolves) is the one taken

can be either for the full day for each moon cycle or only at night and still work

i cant draw for shit so i used a picrew to make my beloved Orchid as best i could (link to picrew) though i added what parts are inaccurate below

outside of this her wings membranes are her body color and the arm structures are the darker purple. tail tip is also darker purple instead of red. her pupils arent hearts and her eyes are green. she has round glasses, and also wears a leg brace on her back left leg.

here she is now read the entire essay post too :] meanwhile ill be saving up money to someday commission her.....ill add it to the list of things i wanna commission lmfao

half crack/half serious wof oc/story idea:

its about a scavenger (i like that name better than human okay) and a dragon

but

somehow, the dragon is actually a scavenger, who was animus magicked into a dragon

...and the scavenger is a dragon, who was animus magicked into a scavenger

they didnt take eachothers places. theyre completely unique versions of themselves that wouldve been if they had been born that way lol

but yeah. it happened at the same time or smt. maybe the dragon (former scavenger), while still human, stole an ancient treasure thats enchanted to....uh....something, and runs face first into the scavenger (former dragon)

and. swapy swap

like i said this is fairly jokey but still kinda unique lol. they just hang out. have wacky adventures of trying to help the other not get exposed (aka teaching them human/dragon norms and culture respectively)

do they ever turn back? who knows.

former dragon btw was...hmmm maybe an icewing. and former human lived in a small village located on the border of the desert. so their homes were fairly close (if you dont know wof the desert and tundra are bordering eachother lol) former human becomes a sandwing, though almost brown in color (thankfully not that unusual for a sandwing) to adapt a human aspect they had, and former dragon is just vibing. oh but their hair is very spikey cause icewing

wish I had the energy to draw but I've decided on making myself as a wof character. not an oc. a self insert pretty much lol

Viola (A flower that grows in cold climates), Ice/Rain

Shades of purple and pink, but very very pale. Has light blue wings and patterning, as well as underbelly. Has venom, does not have frostbreath. Weakened camouflage, cannot make colors very dark, scales tend to stay very pale. has icewings spikes down back and a spiky clubbed tail, but the tail is thick like a rainwings and is prehensile. has the fans around the head like a rainwing. very upbeat like kinkajou, but usually just uses that personality to gain advantages.

okay since idk if or when im gonna finish this- here's nymph! her colors would be mostly pure white scales with hints of light sand yellow, and her back spines/frill would be a very very light pink, nearly white. eyes are red obv. claws and stinger are white. essentially complete albinism on her lol

maybe I'll finish and color someday but this is good enough for now
