He didn’t want Akita to see him. However, the touch made the ice around his legs melt, which was something he couldn’t resist at that point...
...Or so he thought it would.
He wasn’t sure what his brother told him. The words were shielded behind the cold air looming in the room. Nothing felt as warm, nice and safe as it usually did. Instead, he felt like the whole room was as frozen as his body.
He wanted to call out after Akita, to try to understand what he said, to tell him that it was fine, to stay, oh please, stay..!
However, it was too late. The pink-haired boy was long gone, and the red-haired one sat there, unknowing of where his brother was going.
Hours passed, and he was found and repaired. However, he couldn’t rest, not when he didn’t know where Akita was. Instead of remaining inside of his room, one of his favorite places to be, he sat outside on the porch, observing the horizon, just waiting for his brother to return.
He even lied to his other siblings and told them that Akita was just outside exploring, rather than...
It wore him out to sit around and wait, as the wounds healed more slowly since he didn’t lay down like he was supposed to. So in the end, he fell asleep.
