if you gotta add watermarks that’s totally fine despite what some people say. also if youre suspicious and want to check for reposts you can pop your art into google image search and itll show you other instances of that image on other sites.

yea i do a set of reverse image searching about twice a month on all my stuff, mainly the piece that keeps getting used is the .flow photo art i did last year

and i am starting to put my signature in places, but the Big Problem is that .flow picture bc ppl keep reposting it without my watermark on it and im. hhhhhhh

im also like. Afraid of the instances google might not be catching at all, like it didn’t pick up anything when some chick stole my art like 5 years ago :/ i tried reverse image searching after knowing about the thief and none of the services i used caught her reposts at all

im not a Mid-2000s Expert but my theory is that 1. technological advances were so cool and everybody had great ideas on what content to make with the new methods and 2. it hadnt existed long enough for people to get the hang of it and exploit it for profit

also as a huge ps2 fan? shit was amazing dude every single one of my favorite games is on ps2/has an installment of the series on ps2

aside from like, the pointless romance between kiryu and kaoru at the end of rgg2 i think you could flip their perspectives around and she’d still be a viable protagonist. thats why i love her

i feel like their romance couldve been worked upon if nagoshi didnt send her to america in 3. also their romance wouldnt have had a severe power imbalance, both kaoru and kiryu are on equal terms

i love how shes written too, she doesnt fit into a gross gendered stereotype and shes not pure and perfect and quiet for the audience.
