Lmao your tag! But really simplicity and abstract concepts are not a bad thing in lyric writing. When I recently found out they released 2 albums I sent noticed and listened 2 them that struck me as a weak point! Trying to hard to sound smart and just sounding…the absolute worst was “love’s the devil counting teardrops in the rain” I had to pause. that’s so. Omg. I couldn’t deal I laughed so much it’s like a parody of their lyrics/poetry by ur 13 yr old goth cousin
