Hello! I’m Akshat Sethi, born on 28th November 1988 in Bhopal, India. From a young age, I was fascinated by airplanes—their sound, movement, and sheer ability to defy gravity. This passion turned into my purpose, leading me to a fulfilling career in aviation. Today, I proudly serve as a commercial pilot, currently associated with the aviation department of the Government of Gujarat.

My professional path began with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation, followed by earning my Commercial Pilot License. One of the most pivotal chapters of my early career was flying for Air India, where I operated both international long-haul and domestic short-haul flights. These experiences taught me the importance of precision, responsibility, and teamwork in aviation.

After Air India, I stepped into a prestigious role with the Government of Gujarat’s aviation division. My responsibilities include flying VIPs and undertaking high-priority government missions. Every flight demands precision, discipline, and absolute focus—qualities I strive to uphold consistently. The trust placed in me by the state is both humbling and motivating.

Outside of flying, I’m passionate about music and travel. Exploring new places and cultures has expanded my worldview and taught me the value of diversity. I speak English and Hindi, and am currently learning Gujarati and Punjabi to better connect with people across regions. These linguistic skills deepen my sense of connection and understanding in a multicultural country like India.
