I already did Teruko and Yosano so let’s do the other two!!

Akupoe (I’m making up ship names on the spot here):

- Goth BFs!! They go shopping at the same stores for outfits, Akutagawa’s actually the one who showed Poe the best shops in Yokohama

- Akutagawa never had an appreciation for stories until he met Poe, and now he can’t help but get entranced in stories and books

- Neither really like people, but Akutagawa’s willing to speak to the cashier or something if Poe’s feeling too anxious. They also both prefer to be alone, but alone in each others company us a lot better

Summary: Edgar can get very poetic when telling his boyfriend what he likes about him.

Notes: AU where no Guild/Mafia? Also I will never stop writing ships that make no sense, rip

Ryuunosuke couldn’t believe how embarrassing his boyfriend was sometimes. Yes, he was an author so he would be more attuned with flowery language, but still… Edgar was so shy and withdrawn usually. At least, he’d thought that was the case…

But no, Edgar had a flare for the dramatic. A flair that seemed to act up a lot more when they were alone together.

“You’re skin is so smooth, almost like the marble of a beautiful statue…” Edgar’s voice was still the usual quiet whisper, but there was so much fervor behind it. It almost made Ryuunosuke blush. Almost.

“That’s not true,” he was able to keep his words concise, “if anything it’s cold like marble.”

“I like cold things, it reminds me of the best winters I had as a child! The chill setting in my bones, despite the fact their was a warmth in my heart!” Edgar wasn’t giving up, then? Of course he wasn’t.

“Poe, you’re just being sappy now.”

“I am not! I’m just telling the truth…” Edgar took his hands and pulled them close. “Your skin reminds me of the winters, but your love reminds me of that heartwarming feeling I had, only now it’s ten-fold!”

“Poe…” He really blushed this time and looked away. He wasn’t made to handle things like this.

Edgar kissed the back of his hand and this was getting worse for Ryuunosuke. Why was his boyfriend so cheesy?

“You don’t need to try and compliment me, Edgar, it’s fine.” He looked away, trying to calm the blush on his face.

“But I mean it all…!” Edgar’s voice cracked like he was still a teenager in puberty. Ryuunosuke noted that that was cute.

“Poe--”

“You’re the light of my life, Ryuunosuke!” Ryuunosuke almost jumped when Edgar referred to him by his first name. That was...a first.

Edgar seemed to have realized it too, his face going as red as a cherry (or maybe as red as that friend of his, Lucy’s hair). Someone had let a name slip without meaning to, then? Cute…

“I-I’m so sorry…!”

Ryuunosuke looked at his hands and shook his head after a moment. It was embarrassing to hear his first name come out of Edgar’s lips, but he kind of liked it. He almost wanted to hear it again.

Well then, if he asked for that, maybe he could get away from Edgar’s declarations of love. Just for a minute.

“Can you say it again?”

Edgar blinked and let one eye peek out from behind his hair. “Pardon?”

“I thought you might like to say my name again, Poe.” He shrugged and watched him very carefully.

“B-but it just slipped out! I didn’t think we’ve been dating long enough for that!” Edgar was still red and there was no sign it was going away anytime soon. “I don’t want to--”

“I want to hear you say it again, the way you say it is cute.” He watched Edgar’s spirit almost leave his body in embarrassment.

“It’s not, though!”

“I think it is…” Ryuunosuke moved a bit closer and placed a hand over Edgar’s hand. “Will you say it.”

“R-Ryuunosuke…!”

“There we go…” He moved even closer. “Again?” The more he could milk it, the better.

“Ryuunosuke…!”

“Again.?”

Edgar whined and pushed Ryuunosuke back ever so slightly. “No! That’s enough! I wasn’t done tell you what I think about you.”

Ryuunosuke felt his own blush coming back. Well, there went his small time to embarrass Edgar. “...Go on.”

What about some Poe and Akutagawa hcs? (Ship)

Anon, I don’t know if you ship this or you sent it to humor me, but I love you either way.

Akutagawa one time snapped the heels off Poe’s boots so they were on a more even playing ground. He felt bad when he saw the look on Poe’s face and bought him new ones, though.

Poe ends up basing at least one character on Akutagawa in a book of his and the description is...super detailed and no one can argue that he doesn’t like Akutagawa based off that.

Poe sometimes embarrasses Akutagawa with some of his compliments bc they end up getting wordy and fancy. Akutagawa can barely handle “you look nice” so Poe going overboard kills him.

Poe has been carried by Akutagawa at least once thanks to him spraining his ankle in heels. Poe was covering his face the entire time he was so embarrassed.

AU Setting: A Kingdom AU thing? Poe is an advisor to King Fitzgerald and Akutagawa is an assassin from another kingdom trying to kill Fitz. He runs into Poe and they both kind of accidentally fall in love as Poe tries to make Akutagawa’s job hard.
