@akuromic is in the laboratory
Laboratories always held a certain aspect to them that made them difficult to keep far removed from hospitals in his mind. Perhaps it was the faint scent of antiseptic that clung stubbornly to the air as he made his way down into the research chambers of the Frigate at a long, slow, steady pace ( relatively; his left leg was too damaged to discount any wobbling at all on its own, hence the tell-tale sound of the cane quietly clinking against the floor every few steps heralding his arrival ), his eye glinting in the light provided by the LEDs hanging overhead. There had been a point in time where Ghetsis had once spent plenty of time down among his scientists out of a desire to see firsthand the fruits his financial labour bore, but ever since the descent of their traitorous king the lower throngs of Team Plasma’s grunts and volunteers had been graced with fewer and fewer of their leader’s personal visits. He often came to the labs especially not to see what it was that was going on with all the workers there but to check in on the head scientist especially, half out of a genuine need to keep himself aware of the inner machinations of the people beneath him and half because...
Well, he’d always had a soft spot for Akuroma. Getting to watch his skin crawl whenever he happened to drop by unexpected delighted him to no end. He was no stranger to schadenfreude, and catching a glimmer of even a smidgen of anguish and discomfort on the blond’s face brought him more than he often knew what to do with. Yes, it was not duty but boredom that really motivated Ghetsis’ latest visit, and that was perhaps the most likely reason why he suddenly brought his hand down on the shoulder of the man with the telltale swivel of blue hair curling its way around the back of his head and leant over his other arm to get a good look at what it was he was working on.
He so hated it when people touched him. It meant a bit more sadistic fun on his part.
"... Doctor Akuroma. I do so hope you don’t mean to tell me that you’ve started on some secondary project here before finishing preparations for Kyurem’s holding cell.”
