So the Persona Stalker Club from yesterday (29/01/2015) answered another Adachi related question.

In episode Adachi from P4U2, Adachi mentioned that he was very familiar with the Moonlight Bridge from P3 since he saw it many times. So one of the viewers wondered if Adachi used to live in Iwatodai. The answer from Atlus is as follows:

“Adachi didn’t necessarily live in Iwatodai. He saw the bridge often while he was in the city center for work. Because of a police TV series that was popular at the time, he specifically went out of his way to drive over the Moonlight Bridge when returning from a crime scene. He seems to enjoy those drives.”

The hosts of PSC pointed out that the popular police TV series that inspired Adachi probably refers to Bayside Shakedown (踊る大捜査線), a very famous police comedy series from Japan. The main character wears a greenish coat similar to the yellow one that Adachi wears in P4U2. And in the series a bridge called the Rainbow Bridge plays a role. So the hosts assumed that Adachi wears the coat and likes going to the Moonlight Bridge to imitate the main character from Bayside Shakedown.

I think that’s kinda cute.
