if your conlang was a lingua franca, what would the franca part of the expression be

I have a lingua franca!

Akusu came into existence because people ran away to (what is now) Rakar and encountered Scayikraa nomads. The language started off as a pidgin and primarily uses the Areik group writing system and loans works, sounds and letters from primarily Adysysy. It also has some Ascayi, as well as words from languages that are now extinct. It combines two very different systems and is consequently very hard to learn - like imagine if we made a pidgin of Mandarin and German.

How incredibly cursed the language is aside, the "franca" part would be the Adysysy/Ascayikra group part.

Also, important gramma: a at the start of a word = denoting language a at the end of a word = an agitative relating to identity, in this case a demonym

Most accused creoles continues:

Arakar + Adesysy (pidgin) -> Akusu (creole) -> Akusu + Ascayi + Assca (pidgin) -> Akusu Zy (creole) -> Akusu + Akusu Zy (dialect)

You speak Akusu but your around nomads a lot so now you have a dialect, using a 'z', shortening sentences and talking with you beak shut. You're also involved in military and/or Sluea. So now

Akusu with Zy dialect and parts of a language almost wiped out, so much so it's used as a military terms/code.

When I got my first issue of Ax I was surprised about its size. I had Garo issues before and expected something similar to Garo. So,to show you, if you never had an issue of Garo,Ax or both I made these photos to give you a better image of how they look like.

Garo is bigger in size, but less thick. The early issues of Garo are especially thin, like here, my earliest issue, from 1968 and one then one from 1993. Further you can see that the Ax anthology is slightly bigger than the actual Ax magazine. As I have no early issue of Ax so far, I cannot tell if the early Ax issues where thinner than now.
