hello i found your post about akutabe, from yondemasu yo , and your speculations about his real identity and i was wondering if the manga ever revealed what he actually is because the translations stopped at chapter 22 and the originals all i can do is stare at the pictures because i can't translate it 😔😔😔 thank you and i hope im not bothering you !

Hello! Akutabe’s true identity is never revealed in the manga, unless I missed something. In the last volume he actually shows his third eye and easily deflects an attack by God on Azazel, and it’s strongly suggested that they’re similar beings, but… that’s kind of all. :D In the very end he’s seen following an infidelity case and reconnecting with Sakuma while at it (and Sakuma mentions that Akutabe had been pestering her to go back working for him), that’s the last we see him.

I can’t help but wonder in the end who on earth Akutabe was, but then - clearly Kubo didn’t put a whole lot of thought into it, so. :D

It could be just me, but it looks like Akutabe is conscious of Beelzebub.

As if Akutabe is jealous of Bee-yan! Maybe because he's hanging out with Sakuma more often?

Kubo-sensei sure knows how to tease ships!
