Nix stared at Mephisto in shock as she stood in the middle of her now empty classroom. It took her a moment to process what was just asked and to realize it was real. He was asking her out to dinner? Why her when there was a multitude of better looking people in general? "You.. want to take me out to dinner? This isn't the sort of thing when you take me out to dinner just to make it a little easier to say I'm fired is it?" Hopefully it wasn't! Nix had gotten used to being a teacher, and still an exorcist, and losing her students would be heartbreaking.

Byakuya gazed down at his child with fondness. Her tears caused the strings of his heart to tug. He hated when any of his children cried. Since becoming a father, he was beginning to understand why parents were so quick to react. He was absolutely very protective of his children.

❝ Don't cry my little flower. You still can. Here, let's go get some new ink and we'll sit down and practice. Come. ❞ He offers his hand for her to grasp. ❝ We have plenty more ink and paper we can use. Do you still want to practice? ❞

she's immediately getting her phone out to take photos of him, her eyes wide and sparkling, " you're so cute !! can i pick you up ? is that okay ? " she questions while gently patting her lap for him to hop up and take a few photos with her. they WILL be internet famous for this moment !! (howling i love him sm)

He is! He's so cute! And he isn't wasting a single second of this moment, especially when there's a camera involved. Up he jumps, holding himself as high with pride as his current form will allow, and mimicking each of Miku's poses as best he can like this. For the handful of people who know about his shapeshifting, he's about to become insufferable.

miku kneels down upon seeing the white dog with a figure of herself in his mouth, the idol smiling and laughing a little, " so cute !! are you a fan, mister pup ? " she's petting his head.

That tiny tail is going a mile a minute! This is Miku! THE Miku, and she's giving him scritches! He could die happy!! He's even going to stand on his hind legs and paw up at her like he's doing a trick!

Her touch is welcomed, causing him to lean further into it gently. Seeking affection, almost starved for contact despite the fact that he is almost always near her. Yet every time he approached, or she approached him, Byakuya found himself becoming needy. Embarrassingly so the way he instantly melted into her hands at her mere proximity.

It was nothing short of devotion. His eyes turn to look at her. He takes in her words, feeling her touch and reveling in it. The fact that she was the only person to make him feel like this. Surely, she knew the effect, the power she held over him? Often times he felt as if life was a dream. To be granted the ability to go through life with her at his side was something he spent so long fighting for ----- against all the rules.

Here she was at his side, holding him together with her soothing presence ----- his wife. It may have been years, but it still only feels like days. His devotion and love only yet stronger for it.

Hands reach to clasp themselves overs hers.
