The Nest
Dangerous Area
Precautionary Guide
To obtain the final egg, Layton and co. have no choice but to face the danger and set foot into the enemy headquarters. What awaits is a confrontation with Bronev.
WANTED: Robin (Bishop) Not particularly dangerous, but his actions are bothersome.
WANTED: Macaw (Rook) Very capable, but is a good person at heart.
△ If you see any suspicious men, do not approach them and leave. Once you step foot into The Nest, you are in a danger zone. As you move away from Targent’s headquarters, the Obsidian Tower, the security becomes lighter, but black-suited men all over town keep a close eye on intruders. If you carelessly get too close, a dangerous puzzle might be thrown your way.

△ Waste disposal Plant
The passage leading from the back is narrow, and it’s difficult to walk through without being spotted by the enemy. On the right is a landing strip, a crane carrying waste is humming.

The story behind background art
Keeping in mind the thought that: “this is a dangerous place!”, I created this oppressive-feeling backdrop. I remember working on the waste disposal plant in particular was quite difficult. (Lead by: Level-5’s Kenichi Kurakari-san)
