Snape Says: Only Potter and Malfoy would fall for the plots of scheming children. I wouldn't say that either of them are as prattish as they ought to be... but a fair piece of writing here. Worth it's grade.

You don’t even know how long I was looking forward to reading this piece. It was one I’d had in my bookmarks for quite some time and had been put in the queue for reviewing some time ago. Now that I’ve finally had the chance to read it, I can’t say I’m disappointed. I didn’t particularly know what to expect but I’ll be honest, the title peaked my interest from the start.
The writing is pleasant and effective, and I found the introduction of the Next Generation children at the beginning to be refreshing and sweet. I especially liked the detail about the All-House Quidditch Team. I think that after the war, that would have been a unique way to encourage inter-house unity. And with an additional, All-Star team to Hogwarts? Brill idea. Love it.
Anyway, the characterization on both our boy’s parts was a bit soft—good, but lacking edge—and though I enjoyed most of their interactions and Harry’s dialogue was more or less appropriately ‘Harry’, I still would have hoped for a bit more bravery from him, and a bit less ‘pleasant’ from Draco. The Slytherin was a touch too... nice. That being said, it had it’s moments of canon.
With a flair of creativity and imaginative imagery, this was a cute piece of fluff and one that I will remember fondly and likely read again.
P.S. It’s not NC17, the author flat out lied. Or is completely naive. There is no sex in it at all, so it’s an R at best for lude talk and mention of erections.

First of all, I really enjoyed the idea behind this story. I like that Draco and Harry were brought together because their children were friends like they never were (because I’m a total sap). I like party-planning, handsome Draco. I like renovating, relaxed Harry. There was a line about how the orphan who lived in the cupboard under the stairs doesn’t get a happy ending; in a lot of ways, I always expected Harry to lose faith because of his past. All that being said, I like Draco to be a snarkier bastard and I like Harry to be braver, so that knocked down the points for characterization for me. I understand that’s my personal preference, but I felt like the boys weren’t themselves (like how Draco was peachy after they exchanged letters when I expected him to be spitting mad until Harry proved himself in the end). There were some awkward parts in the writing that made me cringe, but over all I was happy with this short little piece about how the boys got together. I liked it, it’s a quick read, and I would recommend this to anybody who just wants some fluff.

This was quite an enjoyable story. I've read many of alannafair's fics, and I like her writing style - very easily digestible and smooth-flowing with some fanatastic descriptions. I do have a love-hate relationship with H/D fics that feature the next-gen kids- the characterisation has to be just right for me to love it. Albus and Scorpius were interesting to read in this fic, but I've read so many fics where they conspire to set up their fathers, I found this one a little cliche.
However, I did like the relationship between Harry and Draco. Although both were a little out of character, I still found it believable and the interaction and dialogue between them was enjoyable to read.
Overall, an easy, pleasant read.
