Drew a quick little doodle with Mozenrath and his mum 🥺 I want to show the art first, and then the answer.

In my universe, his mum is Mongolian. That's why Mozenrath has Asian roots😌

Hmmm, as for your question, I think Mozenrath and his mum had a warm loving relationship (as most kids do at that age! It would be strange if it were any other way.)

I think Mozenrath was definitely more attached to his mum than his dad, and when asked "do you love mommy or daddy more?" he never answered "both". He was a clingy little thing, I think, and would cling to the hem of his mother's dress or sleeves. I think he might have loved playing with her jewellery. Perhaps the fact that he was more attached to his mum was also influenced by the fact that he looked more like her, and therefore felt more connected to her than to his dad. And of course, he spent more time with her. I like to think that he wanted to show her that he cared about her as much as she cared about him, so he would pick her flowers or draw pictures, try to help her with household chores and compliment her. Well, like many children at that age, he probably thought his mum was the most beautiful and best woman ever!

New shipp with another Disney villain cuz' i rewatched Aladdin recently

Meet Nazir

He's literally Jafar's horse

He's a young man born into poverty and the eldest of five sisters, so naturally he had to provide for the family somehow, and he became a thief. The idiot was caught once trying to rob the palace and begged for his life like never before because he still had a family to take care of, and in exchange for his forgiveness, Jafar gave him the position of his personal escort. Now that he lives in the castle, he even received an education and has a stable life that allows him to send money to his sisters. For this, he is eternally grateful to Jafar and is blindly devoted to him. He would do anything for him... even if it means becoming his pack mule.

I have the headcanon that Jafar had a certain amount of power even before he asked the genie to be a sorcerer, so he used it to turn Nazir into a horse 👍

*Edit* I changed her skin tone a little, because I thought it was too light (we are in the damn desert after all) I hope it looks more coherent this way (although, as I said, I made her a little more tanned)

I finally made the complete design of Iris (actually I made it a month ago)

So... here's some info about her:

- she is 37 years old

- owns a herbalist's shop (which she inherited from her mentor)

- can manipulate air (I still have to think about whether to make this a magical power or if she has to use martial arts to use them a bit like in Avatar) and she's pretty good at it since she trained a lot (but she would hardly use it in a fight against someone who doesn't have such abilities and normally... she prefers to avoid fights altogether)

- knows several languages, including sign language (which I will probably rarely draw)

- she is resistant to poisons, this is because when she was an apprentice of the old owner of the herbalist's shop he made her drink small quantities of poison to give her this resistance

- she has a terrible poker face, even if she wanted to look impassive you could clearly see what she feels

- like most of my characters, she is an introvert, she spends a lot of her time alone studying, experimenting, etc. and she has the worst sleep pattern of all my characters: she wakes up 5 nights to study and 2 to "recover" and often doesn't respect them for the two days.

- has a terrible sense of direction (this woman accidentally ended up in the den of the 40 thieves while looking for some plants)

- her facial expressions are supposed to resemble those of a fennec fox (which I fail to do, but shh... details)

- she tends to get distracted easily by getting lost in her thoughts and sometimes (if you ask her something about plants or anything of interest to her) she will start talking with a certain enthusiasm about the topic until she realizes that she is talking too much and stops

these are some of her expressions, I'm not finished yet, but I wanted to show for now

(I admit that I still have to improve with expressions)

and in these expressions I tried to make the eyes with a style closer to Disney's (it didn't come out that great, but ok)

My father was a street rat or rather a thief who would spend much of his time stealing food to survive. But never harmed any innocent people. Oh sure, a few guards would get humiliated from time to time, but they kind of deserved it at times.

He then met my mother, fell in love, found a wish granting genie, defeated a crazy old man, freed the genie, and married my mother. While also going through so many adventures. Adventures that they would tell me since I was little.

“Of course. Since then, there hasn’t been that many exciting things happening around here. It’s been pretty boring and I wish there were stuff to do. Something like the stories my parents told me.”
