my bookshelves are alphabetical by author and the author breakdown of the 5 sets of shelves (all with roughly similar amounts of empty space) looks like this: first abc second cdefg third ghijkl fourth lmnopqr fifth rstuvwxyz anyway now I'm curious whether this fewer-as-the-alphabet-goes-on situation (note, there are a good number of M, T, and W authors in particular) is representative of the population in general, books that are published, etc or am I just a lazy browser
