Susie knew this would happen. She had a feeling if she recorded for this long she would lose her voice. Sammy had even asked if she wanted to stop for now. He never asked anyone else. Just her. Her throat had started to hurt. Then her voiced cracked during her song. The band came to a halt. Joey, Sammy, and Alan turned to look at her. She excused herself. She made her way into the break room to make herself some warm honey tea. That usually helped. They would probably have to get Allison to finish recording the episode for her. It wasn’t long until her fellow voice actors came to see her.
“I knew we should’ve stopped,” Sammy said.
Joey nodded in agreement.
“You should probably go down to the infirmary to see the doc,” Alan added, “ wouldn’t want to screw up your vocals.”
