Alan Jr. is a lethal in the canon verse

How he works though is entirely different compared to the current ones we know of. He has a voting card you can vote for, but it doesn't send you straight to a floor where he is active as a twisted like Dyle. His voting card allows him to be with Dandy and assist him by adding a little extra to his goods. Basically, whenever you buy something from Dandy you get a free extra thing that is very helpful. So basically, you can buy gumballs and you're not only given the gumballs but also the extra thing Alan Jr. had as a bonus for being there. Even though the items are different each time they prove oh so useful.

The items vary from a jawbreaker, band, medkit, and his three exclusive items.

Now, how about the twisted? How you get him is by not buying from Dandy. This usually triggers and brings Twisted Dandy, but for this case since Alan Jr. is there and he was able to stop it. Though he had to turn into his twisted form for that to happen. And that's the reason why he looks pissed and annoyed. But still reasonable in his senses, he doesn't attack anyone, and actually protects the toons by grabbing and holding smaller twisteds like this.

Though it's always unique and different for how he "holds" a different twisted. For bigger/mains he fought them first and are actually knocked out for the entire floor. And yes you can get research without any consequences and do everything peacefully without worrying about certain threats. Though make sure you don't mess up and irritate him enough. How though? Use an airhorn twice or fail three skill checks. That's what it takes to aggro him and everyone there, if that happens that's basically a run ender because everything gets wrecked and everyones faster. Plus Twisted Alan Jr. goes into an even more berserk state that's just casually destroying the walls and windows while having egregious range.
