Andy’s relationship with his strained, at the very best. The two have always had a destructive relationship, often turning into Andy trying as hard as he can to impress his father, only to have Cronus pull him apart any chance he gets. The two have never seen eye to eye, but Andy has still tried regardless, from his time as child all the way into adult hood. Nothing was ever good enough for his father, nothing ever lived up to his unreasonable standards. By the end of it, Andy hated the man. He did not attend his father’s funeral. 

R H E A    T H A N E   ---   adopted mother.

Rhea is a homemaker’s dream, and Andy adores her. Where his father was cruel and unwavering, his mother was soft and gentle. She was often the one who let him cry into her shoulder as child, never passing judgment or hurtful words like his father would. He tries to make her proud of him, though there’s no telling if he’s been able to actually follow through. He still keeps in contact with his mother, and often goes to visit her as much as he can.

Andy often viewed Anthony as ‘second dad’ as a child. Given that he is twelve years younger than the latter, it didn’t come as a shock. Anthony was always the favorite – And their father never let him forget it. The two don’t have a particularly close relationship, but Andy would move heaven and Earth for him, regardless. The two were like oil and water as children, and even now – Andy can’t help but question Anthony’s authority over the MC.

Given how close in age the two are, and the fact that they share a birthday – Andy has always been closer to Alaric, of his two brothers. Where Andy has always been fire, Alaric was water. Andy was impulse, Alaric is reason. They balance one another out, the other often balancing Andy. Though the two didn’t see one another much during Alaric’s time on the east coast the two remained in close contact through out the years.

R E I N A     T H A N E   ---   sister in law, married to anthony thane.

Reina is the epitome of tough love, and Andy can’t help but love her for it. The two have always gotten along, and he considers himself close to her. Reina is the one who never bothered to sugar coat, try to spare his feelings – She always lays it all out on the table, without concern for keeping anything light. Her candor only makes him want to be around her more, often seeking her out in a room for the two to spend their time talking smack and chain smoking.

D E L P H I N E    W A R R E N   ---   biological mother, estranged. 

Andy has met his biological mother a handful of times. With the encouragement of Rowan, he first met her when he was twenty-three, at an old diner outside of Baton Rouge. The two don’t speak much, other than Delphine sending the occasional birthday card every other year. Andy can’t help but feel a certain animosity towards his birth mother, bitterness about why she would have given him away, why she did the same years later to her other child. He never got satisfying answers from her, and the two have never built an actual relationship. Their relationship is purely on paper, but as far as Andy is concerned, Rhea Thane is his mother, not Delphine. 

S Y L V I A    W A R R E N   ---   biological sister, estranged.

Sylvia, unlike their shared mother, is a friend. The two met not long after he tracked down his birth mother, and she admitted she had another child. Andy finally met Sylvia in person when he was twenty-seven, at the hotel he was staying in Dallas. She lives in Texas, and has one son, Benjamin, who is a little over a year old. The two have forged a bond with one another over their mother’s seeming abandonment, as well as their similar childhoods. While Sylvia never grew up in the midst of a biker gang, she still had it rough -- Bouncing around from foster home to foster home, never having anything stick. The two remain in touch, but Andy never vocalizes his relationship with her. As far as he knows, only Rowan is aware of her existence. The two wrote back and forth while he was in prison, with Sylvia coming up on holidays to see him. While he’s not aware of it, she has named him the God father of her son.

Reina had quite a few things to check off her to do list in the aftermath of the Dive situation and, unfortunately, seeking out her brother-in-law was one of them. She could only imagine what kind of mood he’d be in and, quite frankly, she didn’t want to deal with it. Reina had long ago noticed that Alaric could be just as stubborn as his father when he wanted to be and in this case, that wasn’t a good thing. She spotted him easily when she made her way into the garage, making her way to him through the mechanics and the cars they were working on.

“Alaric, just the man I was looking for.” She doubted neither her nor Anthony would be able to get it through his thick skull that this move was necessary, but she could at least try. “How’s my favorite party pooper?” Okay, favorite was a bit of a stretch — she knew plenty of party poopers she liked a hell of a lot more than she liked him. But still, he was definitely a top contender for biggest killjoy.

“Momma A!” Alaric calls, jogging to catch up to her as students mill about the hallways. He’s hoping for a quick word alone, but will take what he can get. “I’ve got a question for you. Well, a question I’m hoping you can answer.”
