HE COULDN'T TELL what hurt more: the bleeding wound on his side or his pride. Unfortunately, he was human--and even though he was Vongola's strongest Guardian, even he got hurt. His body slumped against the wall, hand pressed against his side to stop the bleeding. He was still in enemy territory, so he had to remain on his guard, even as he struggled to recover his energy.
Luckily, Alaude had come prepared and set up traps around him. If anything triggered the explosives, it'd wake him up and hopefully injure the enemy. When he heard footsteps, his head snapped up and his body tensed. The last thing he expected to see was a dog--at least, it looked like a dog in the dark and his fading vision.
" S--Stop! " A small croak, and though it should not have concerned him, he tossed his handcuffs toward the animal. With the attribute of propagation, the cuffs surrounded by purple flames grew bigger in size and wrapped around the dog's paw, hopefully tripping the animal before it set off the hidden explosive.
