Just listened to the first rough mix of the Alaurabyrd EP. Woah.
I have never been this proud of anything in my life.

Guitarist Needed
My band Alaurabyrd will be looking for a new guitarist as of April 27th. If you or someone you know would be interested in jamming with us, contact me on here or on tumblr. We play melodic hardcore with a heavy post-rock influence.
First tour was incredible.
Just got home from the first ever Alaurabyrd mini tour. Played 3 dates with Riverside-based Doom Metal band Bloom. Those dudes are incredible at what they do and they're awesome people to hang with. Lots of fun.
I couldn't have asked for a better way to experience playing my first few out of state shows. I'm excited to go back out again in the spring. Many thanks to everyone who came to the shows and/or helped us out in any way.

We will be in Vegas at Yayo's Tacos on January 6th and we will be in LA at Amplyfi on January 7th.
We most likely will not be able to pay you, but we will try to get you into the show for free.
Doors are at 7.
Show costs $10, or is FREE if you bring a new, non gift-wrapped toy to donate.
Besides the bands playing, there will also be raffle giveaways of tons of cool prizes like a gift certificate to Golden Rule Tattoo in downtown Phoenix.

Tomorrow night
The bandmates and I will be opening for Touche Amore, Pianos Become The Teeth, and Seahaven. We've heard so far that there will be over 150 kids there. We've only played 3 shows ever...
We are truly blessed with the positive response and support our music has received in such short time. I could not be more thankful to anyone who's ever come to one of our shows, downloaded a song, or just talked to us about our music (positive or negative).
Honestly, this pointless rant is the best way I can think of to rid myself of all nerves for tomorrow. For any of my followers who go to ASU, the show is at The Secret Garden, which is tucked nicely within Dixie Gammage Hall off of what is basically Forest and University. And it's only $10 at the door. I hope to see all of you there.
I'm honored to get the chance to play with these three bands as they have all influenced our music in some form or another. All I really know is, I'm gonna have a great fucking time on stage and hope at least one kid likes our band. That's enough for me.
Also, for my out of state friends, I'll be sure to post pictures/videos from the show on here for your viewing pleasures.
