“You know, I just realised something,” Alba drawled, voice still a little lazy from just waking up at seemingly the middle of the night (thank you, jet lag). Slowly, she turned onto her side, facing the dark side of the room where her long distance best friend was presumably also suffering from being awake at the most ungodly hour. “I can pester you awake in person now instead of calling you three hundred times until you finally wake up,” she chuckled softly then reached out to turn the light on - groaning as the soft yellow glow filled the room.
“Do you think anything is open right now? It’s...” Alba paused, and rummaged around for her phone, watch - anything - before sighing heavily. “Shit. It’s only three.” Again, now that her eyes were adjusted to the light, she turned her attention back to the other side of the basic and relatively small hotel room. “I can’t even go for a run without probably getting lost here either... All the regrets in this moment in time. Berlin be damned. The currywurst better be worth it. ”
