The Inevitable Sting

Well, the waiting game is over for my short story submission at least.

While I know that rejection is part and parcel of a writer’s life, it doesn’t make it sting less to receive one.  Form letter rejections sting even more.

I wish there was an option to request feedback on Submittable submissions.  I know that editors are busy, but it would be nice to get even a vague idea of why my story wasn’t…
