The flag of Lethbridge Alberta. Probably one of the ugliest flags i’ve seen, it makes me wanna gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon.

from /r/vexillology Top comment: As a former resident, i can give a bit of background on why this abomination is used. Basically there's an old whiskey trading post (now a historic site) called Fort Whoop Up near the town, which used a similar(ish) flag at the fort in order to avoid raids by the colonial authorities by looking like an American flag at a distance. However, as interesting a story as it is, i still really hate it.
