Alberta Express Entry Stream Draw Issues 132 Notifications of Interest
The Express Entry Stream of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) issues Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to qualified candidates from the federal Canada Express Entry pool, inviting them to apply for nomination. Foreign skilled workers who have a strong connection to Alberta or are working in an occupation that can support local economic development, and international students who have graduated from a post-secondary institution in Canada, can be issued NOIs under this stream.
In order to be considered, aspirants must have submitted an Expression of Interest in the Express Entry System indicating their interest in relocating to Alberta, and score at least 300 points based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) selection factors.
On 5th December 2019, 132 Express Entry candidates – who had a CRS score of 400 or more points – received NOIs from the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). So far in 2019, 6,752 NOIs have been issued through the Alberta Express Entry stream.
