#Repost @hamiltonsgallery • • • • • • Albert Watson has made his mark as one of the world's most successful and prolific photographers since he began his career in 1970, blending art, fashion and commercial photography into some of the most iconic images ever seen. Born in Edinburgh he graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 1969, and shortly after moved to the United States to begin his career. By 1976 he was shooting Vogue covers, since then he has shot over 100. Watson has a love for 1930s surrealist photography, which clearly inspired this image from a fashion shoot in New York in 2010. His ability to capture the formal and sculptural properties of the model’s body is astounding.
